Fogg's Updated Controls Package
Feb 21, 2022Holland, MI, February 21, 2022 – Fogg Filler is continually focused on improving technology that better serves our customers and the environment. Fogg is integrating Rockwell's PlantPAx controls package as an option for a more in-depth analysis of customers' plant data.
This package runs off an Industrial PC running FactoryTalk SE which greatly increases data storage and tracking capabilities compared to the current Panel View option. It creates an easier collection of data such as product temperature levels, blower speeds, temperature of UV lamps, and many other important functions that make your line efficient. It is especially beneficial to anybody running ESL or Aseptic fillers, or systems with many machines, where data analysis is pivotal.
On the programming end, Fogg can directly link manuals, videos, instructions, and any other documents that may be helpful for the operator's reference running the machine. The program has security and scalable traceability so that you can see when the machine was running and when it was paused, and if any alarms were triggered, as well as who was punched in running that machine at what times. The program has its own server to track each alarm which can assist in quickly discovering the reasons for any downtime on a machine. We can assist in programming security levels for employees who need different levels of access to this information. Fogg will program the system to meet each customers' needs, provide the PC, and provide the licenses.
